Carers Summit in Wales Invitation.

Carers Wales would like to invite you to this year’s Annual Summit for unpaid carers

Overview

The Summit will be held online during the week commencing the 7 February 2022. This year, we will be holding focused discussions on a variety of topics throughout the week to capture your views, feedback and suggested ways forward.

Carers Wales will collate key points raised to present to a final plenary session 11am-12.30pm on Friday 11 February. The Deputy Minister for Social Services Julie Morgan MS will be making the plenary welcome speech and there will be an expert panel who will answer questions presented.

Each focus session will last for 1.5hours. There will be an introductory speaker before discussion is opened up to all attendees. You are able to pick and choose which sessions you would like to attend.

A Carers Summit Report will be written up with key discussion points raised and will be distributed to attendees after the event. This report will also be sent to key decision-makers and influencers at the national, regnal and local level.

Please note: This event is for unpaid carers only. The event will be held in the English language. However, Welsh translation can be requested when registering for the event.
