Bitesize Training Sessions on Dementia and Welsh Language

Social Care Wales are running a series of bitesize training sessions on dementia and Welsh language.

These online sessions are open to anyone providing care to people living with dementia. They are aimed at people who feel less confident to speak any Welsh with people living with dementia. They are also aimed at people who have no Welsh language skills and highlights what support is available for them to be able to deliver services to people living with dementia if their language of communication is Welsh.

The attached document explains who the sessions are aimed at so you can pick the right ones for you.

Each session lasts around half an hour. You can choose to attend as many of the sessions as you like. There will be a speaker, useful resources and a chance to ask questions during each session.

We’ll also be holding a further drop-in session for you to come back and share anything you’ve done differently as a result of the sessions and discuss any barriers you faced or solutions you found.
