Places are available on Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Awareness provided by Autism Wellbeing.

To raise awareness of Autism and the Autism spectrum by focusing on what it may be like to be Autistic, and how we can connect and interact more effectively with Autistic people.

  • What is meant by neurodiversity?
  • What is autism and what do we mean by “spectrum”?
  • The language used about autism
  • Sensory processing, sensory attachment, sensory trauma, sensory profiles and survival responses
  • What is it like to be Autistic?
  • What helps and what doesn’t? Coregulation and self regulation, communication styles, practical strategies, taking other’s perspectives
