Think Differently About Ageing

Action For Elders is an award-winning charity that has developed an innovative and creative solution to improve the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of older people

Our vision is to co-create a society where all older people have the choice, support, and empowerment to live more active and meaningful lives.

Balanced Lives at Home – Action For Elders offers vital support for older people.

We introduced Balanced Lives at Home - a new programme of online services - to help older people and those who care for them through Covid-19. During the past year, we repositioned our in-person Balanced Lives programme to become a multi-faceted online help resource for local individuals, volunteers, and community groups. We offer exercise sessions, social groups, and mental wellbeing support. This is a bespoke service, provided by experts and tailored to individual needs.
