They are being run over Microsoft Teams by Nikki Thomas-Roberts, of Phoenix Mindful Living, who has previously done similar work with the county’s unpaid carers and volunteers.
The three-hour sessions include an introduction to self-care and self-compassion tools, resources and skills, and to positive psychology and the ‘art of gratitude’, with the aim of “restoring balance and harmony and living with more ease”.
Available dates for group sessions with Nikki, are:
- Friday 19 August, 1-4pm
- Friday 2 September, 1-4pm
- Friday 16 September, 1-4pm
- Friday 7 October, 1-4pm
- Friday 28 October, 9.30am-12.30pm
The one-to-one sessions cover the same topics, over one-and-a-half hours, and can be delivered over Microsoft Teams or an audio phone call.

Nikki also has five places available for staff on an eight-week Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC), again to be delivered over Microsoft Teams, starting on Friday 12 August, and running between 10am and 12pm.
