Radiate Arts Veterans Exhibition.

The exhibition is showcasing stone carving, photography and poetry created by veterans who are taking part in an ongoing creative programme at the Hub

The gallery is committed to working with all sections of our community, supporting individuals, organisations and artists to work with creativity for the benefit of all. Please do come along and visit the exhibition of inspiring and thought provoking work. The gallery is open between 11am and 4pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Also on show are an exhibition of work by NPTC Newtown College students about climate change and poetry created by individuals taking part in creative writing workshops last year. Their poems have been handwritten on a large scale by artist Alice Savery. 

Dates

On Wednesday 9th and Wednesday 16th February veterans, their friends and families can visit the exhibition between 3pm and 4pm for private events whilst Gallery 1 is closed to the public. These times allow for veterans to enjoy the exhibition in a quiet and safe environmen

There are 2 afternoons when the gallery is closed to the public and open for Veterans only:

Fridays at the Dam

Radiate Arts are also starting a ‘Veterans Craft with a Cuppa’ at Caffi Clywedog every Friday morning, starting 19th February, we also have limited spaces on our Friday morning stone carving workshops, see attached leaflet.

We’re also looking for veteran volunteers for the above activities.
