In-Work Support Service

A message from Mid & North Powys Mind.

In Work Support Service – Covering all of Powys

My name is Namrata Bhardwa (Service Manager) and my colleague is Anna Poulton (Service Coordinator). We have been recruited by Mid and North Powys MIND to deliver a Welsh Government Funded Programme called In-Work Support Service (IWSS), covering the whole of Powys. The IWSS Launched in August and we are in the process of promoting the service to ensure everyone is aware of the service and of what we have to offer; in the hopes of receiving referrals from yourselves in the future.

Referral Process:

Simply give us a telephone call/email/social media. There is no referral form to fill out. Either yourselves can refer a client, alternatively the client can self-refer.

Criteria:

-16 Years or Over

-Employed

-Struggling at work i.e. it could be work related issues or events going outside of work e.g. family dynamics that can be impacting work.

-Considering sick leave or resignation due to a health condition.

-Currently on sick leave (duration is irrelevant) as long as the client is, technically speaking, still employed.

Support is available to Individuals and SME’s (Small to Medium Enterprises) residing/operating in Powys.

The In-Work Support Service can offer:

- Mental Health and Physical Health Support to Individuals

To Businesses:

- Workplace Training

- Wellbeing Training

- Advice around Wellbeing Policies and Procedures

- Employment Law Advice and Support

Please see attached Service Leaflets for reference.

*Finally, we are looking to recruit more private Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Osteopaths. If you are interested or know of anyone then we would be keen to liaise and go through the Due Diligence Process.
