Evaluation of a website for the glossary of terms for social prescribing: An online forum

The diversity and ambiguity of the terminology used in social prescribing creates barriers to engagement and makes it hard for professionals and the public to communicate effectively.

We have developed a glossary of terms (a type of dictionary) to help with this, which has now been developed into a website. The website is due to be launched in October and we want to make sure that the website is usable and accessible to the public as well as those who work in or with social prescribing. As a member of the public, we are interested in your perspective on the contents of the website and how it functions.

We will be holding an online forum in September and would love for you to take part. The forum will be up to two hours long and as a thank you, you will receive 2 x £25 supermarket vouchers (Aldi, Asda, Tesco). These will be distributed by preference on a first-come first-served basis. For more information please view the attached Participant Information Sheet or contact Dr Simon Newstead simon.newstead(at)southwales.ac.uk or Prof. Carolyn Wallace carolyn.wallace(at)southwales.ac.uk
