Bowel Cancer Community Voices Cymru

Bowel Cancer UK are creating a group for people affected by bowel cancer in Wales to share their experiences of treatment and care and have a say on the development of services in Wales.

The Bowel Cancer Community Voices Cymru group will give people affected by bowel cancer in Wales the opportunity to be listened to and involved in developing support and information services that best meet the needs of patients and their families across the country. Participants will have the chance to take part in surveys, focus groups, polls and interviews both online and face to face.

Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in Wales, with more than 900 people dying from the disease every year. However it shouldn’t be as it’s treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early.
