Re: DMiP Jubilee Games

As a valued Supporter of DMiP we would like to invite you to our annual gathering, this year the theme is the Platinum Jubilee and all things Royal.

Our Members, Carers and Volunteers have been preparing and making items and pieces that will be on show on the day.  We are also asking Supporters to get into the spirit and wear a homemade, Jubilee Hat; bring a painting that can be entered into the theme 'portrait of the Queen' or 'Jubilee Days'; to wear your best Red, White and Blue outfit or dress like the Queen or any member of the Royal family - there will be awards for all of those categories.

We are also encouraging Team entries into the Games - there will be a selection of traditional, fete type games and mental challenges, all with a Royal twist.  Teams can consist of one or more people, we will calculate scores accordingly.  All Teams will be entered into various categories (Meeting Centre, Volunteer, Supporter etc).  We would really like to see Teams from the organisations we work with and very much hope you will be entering and bringing Team members with you!

We have to ask Supporters to pay £10 per person to contribute to lunch, refreshments and costs.  Please confirm your attendance and any dietary requirements by Wednesday, 3rd August, to ensure you are catered for.  

We hope you will support DMiP by attending this event and join us for an afternoon of Fun and Games, and a surprise or two.
