The PTHB are looking for 2 individuals to train as facilitators, from across all disciplines and departments. This 2.5 day training is relevant to all staff managing complaints and concerns, from the very informal at ward or departmental level, whether this be from patients or staff members, to formal complaints through the `Putting Things Right` process.
This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your CV and enhance communication skills in all walks of life.

Expressions of interest for this course are welcomed from people with the following skills/experience:
Experience:
- Background in the training of communication skills
- Background in health/social care
- Experience of training using experimental training/learning methods
- Experience of running groups/workshops/seminars
Skills:
- Confident in front of a group and able to deliver a lecture to up to 30 people
- Ability to carry out `role play` in front of a group
- Ability to run small group sessions for up to 10 people
- Ability to deal with emotionally distressed learners
- Ability to deal with a diverse group of learners
Personal characteristics:
- Motivated to become a Sage & Thyme facilitator
- Open to new ideas
- Able to facilitate at least 3-4 courses per year
- Advocate/use the Sage & Thyme model in practice
