- Over 55,000 people in Powys have received their second dose. This is nearly half of the adult population. Double dose protection is vital to help reduce the chances of serious illness from COVID-19. This is particularly important with new variants spreading across the UK. Second dose appointments will normally be 11-12 weeks after your first dose, and you will receive an invitation shortly before it is due.
