In Powys, there are 13 localities which are centred around the largest towns and their surrounding areas. These localities are used by the Regional Partnership Board, Local Authority and Local Health Board.

Powys Llais, for their local-based engagement, decided to mirror this approach and focus activity around these same 13 localities.  They piloted a period of engagement in the Welshpool and Montgomery locality during June 2023.

They searched for ways to engage with people of all ages and with different interests and to listen to their views about health and social care services.
