Hospital Transformation Programme Update.

The Hospitals Transformation Programme (HTP) is working to put in place the new ways of working as consulted on during NHS Future Fit (2018)

The Hospitals Transformation Programme (HTP) is working to put in place the new ways of working as consulted on during NHS Future Fit (2018) and agreed and confirmed through Independent Review, that will improve hospital services for everyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid-Wales by changing the way services are delivered (the clinical model) across our two main hospital sites.

Detailed design work is currently underway with clinicians who work in and deliver the services and this month saw the launch of community focus groups, aligned to each of our four workstreams (more information on future meetings below).

Our ambition is for two, thriving hospital sites that give everyone across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid-Wales (north Powys) access to the best possible hospital care, whether planned or in an urgent and emergency situation, with the right staff and right facilities available when they need them. Our latest plans will be shared nationally in the early summer and we hope to bring you on the journey to improved care for everyone. Over the coming weeks, months and years we will be asking for your thoughts and feedback on some of the practicalities of delivering the new ways of working (the new clinical model) so that we can ensure we are providing the best possible services for all.
