The plan builds on what is already happening in the county and sets out how together, we will address the gaps and seek to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people in Powys.
Every five years, we review our plans, priorities, data and emerging policy to help drive improvements for health and care across the county.
Clair Swales Chief Executive of PAVO and Co Vice Chair of Powys RPB says: “All partners have come together to produce this second Joint Area Plan. It sets out how we can work together to improve the health and wellbeing of people in Powys over the next 5 years.
“Whilst the plan has been developed based upon recent data and what the people of Powys have said, the conversation is not over, and we would welcome any ongoing feedback around the work. Consultation and engagement projects in Powys can be viewed at www.haveyoursaypowys.wales .“
The Joint Area Plan 2023 – 2028 is now available on the Regional Partnership Board’s website www.powysrpb.org. In addition to the full plan there is also a Summary and an Easy Read version.
