Carol Shillabeer, PTHB’s Chief Executive visited staff at Montgomery County Infirmary and Ynys y Plant during the day, while Powys County Council’s Chief Executive Officer Caroline Turner joined PAVO Interim Chief Executive Clair Swales and other senior managers from the council and health board to meet teams at The Park Offices, Newtown Integrated Family Centre, Park Street Clinic and the library during the afternoon. 

The group were in Newtown for the regular North Powys Wellbeing Programme Board meeting, which was the first since the pandemic to be held in person; this time at Ladywell House. They also took the opportunity to walk the perimeter of the proposed campus which will see a new building for Ysgol Calon y Dderwen as well as new health and wellbeing facilities.
