Good news about e-bikes for residents in Newtown.

Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity, is offering people in and around Newtown the use of an e-bike for four weeks, for free.

This Welsh Government funded scheme is encouraging and enabling people to enjoy the many benefits of cycling more.

People borrowing the e-cycles are shown how to use them and can borrow a helmet and a pannier for carrying things. Seats and racks are fitted to some bikes, so children, adults and shopping can be transported easily.

If you would like to know more about the scheme, please email Ruth.Stafford(at)sustrans.org.uk or phone Ruth on 07541 241 163.
