Powys County Council’s Money Advice Service offers free and confidential support to anyone in financial difficulty. During the last tax year (2020/21) it helped 529 Powys residents gain benefits worth an extra £2,046118.65 and would like to help many more.
Our trained and accredited advisors can:
- Offer advice over the phone
- Offer advice face-to-face in a client’s own home or local council office
- Deliver advice sessions in the community
If anyone needs our help, they can visit the Powys County Council website and search ‘money advice’. Here they will find a range of free tools to help them manage their money better, and an online form that will allow them to ‘request money advice’.
