Workforce Plans Survey

Following the launch of A Healthier Wales: Our Workforce Strategy for Health and Social Care, Social Care Wales have commissioned the Institute of Public Care (IPC) at Oxford Brookes University to develop a national workforce plan for the direct care workforce and a workforce plan and post qualifying framework for the social work profession.

As part of the engagement activity that we are undertaking across the months of June and July,  IPC are conducting a survey to provide us with detailed feedback about the content of both draft workforce plans and the post qualifying framework.

The surveys were launched on Friday 11th June and each will take about 30 minutes to complete. We appreciate people are exceptionally busy for a variety of reasons but we are hopeful that you can find time to complete these important surveys so that the workforce plans clearly and truly reflect the needs of the workforce so that actions made really make a difference moving forward.

The survey for the social work workforce plan and post qualifying framework can be accessed via this link https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/SCWsocialworkandPQsurvey/

The survey for the direct care workforce plan can be accessed via this link https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/SCWdirectcaresurvey/

The closing date to complete your entries is the 30th July 2021 and a set of instructions and guidance on how to complete the survey are contained within the links.

Thank you for your support on this.
