The purpose of the framework is to support the social care and early years and childcare sector with wellbeing in the workplace.
The framework is centred around four commitments, which we are encouraging organisations to work towards. It explains what we mean by wellbeing and what that looks like for organisations, managers and individuals. We have also included links to supporting resources as well as a suggested ‘organisational wellbeing plan’ to support planning within an organisation.
The framework is in draft stage at the moment. We’re asking for your help and views to further develop it, including suggestions for supporting resources.
The framework is currently written for the website. We will produce a PDF document, so the final design for a printable version may look different.
The aim is that the final resource is one that will be useful and therefore used by organisations and individuals. Please can you also share with your own networks using the following questions to gain feedback.
If you wish to discuss any of this, please do not hesitate to contact Kate or Bec on wellbeing(at)socialcare.wales
1.What is your first impression of the framework? Think about:
- Am I clear on what it’s saying?
- Is the language / tone right?
- Would I engage with it / use it?
2. Should the framework be a joint resource for Social Care and Early years or separate?
3.What support would your organisation and / or you need to make use of the framework?
4.Do you know of any resources we should link to in the section ‘where can I see examples’?
You can add comments to the online documents here HWB Framework or send back comments on the attached word documents. The final version will be bilingual.
Please can you send back any comments by Friday 8th July.
