Domiciliary care frontline worker online sharing events
Frontline care workers are invited to join us at a sharing to tell us what is important to them. We want to explore their ideas for any changes that would make them more likely to remain in their role for longer and encourage others to take up this profession.
Participants can attend one of five Zoom sessions, selecting a time and date that suits them best:
10 - 11:20am, Thursday 13 April
2 - 4pm, Thursday 13 April
10 - 11:30am, Tuesday 25 April
2 - 4pm, Tuesday 25 April
Anyone who wishes to attend can send their contact details to sian.barclay(at)adss.cymru, together with their preferred time and date to attend. We will then send them the Zoom invite nearer the time.
Please let us know if you have any access needs, and please share this invitation with anybody you know who has experience of domiciliary care and might be interested in sharing their views.
What is the Domiciliary Care in Wales Franchise / Cooperative Feasibility Study?
The study is exploring a different possible model to support domiciliary care in Wales. The model takes inspiration from franchise and cooperative ways of working. A centralised, not-for-private-profit body, its main purpose being to support and benefit everyone involved, would be established for domiciliary care in Wales. The full details of the study can be found on the ADSS Cymru website here.
