 We are looking at the current provision, usage/participation, running costs, carbon emissions and condition of the buildings, as well as other leisure activities and opportunities in and around the county. 

The survey opens today (Monday 3 July 2023) and will be open until Monday 28th August.

Paper copies of the survey are available to pick up from your local library and once complete you can hand it back to staff at a Powys Library or Freedom Leisure Centre, alternatively you can scan it and email it to haveyoursay@powys.gov.uk. 

If you would like to encourage people to take part in the engagement exercise, you will find attached a poster (which can be printed and displayed where appropriate) and an image to use on social media to promote participation. 

Following this review, we will analyse the data and feedback in order to identify some proposals for the creation of a sustainable long-term future which provides opportunities for active lifestyles across the county.  

We plan to consult with stakeholders and residents again in the autumn, to consider options and develop a road map to a healthy, active Powys, as part of a Stronger, Fairer, Greener Powys.
