Mapping Cultural Provision for Ethnic Minority Older People

Message from the Centre for Adult Social Care Research (CARE).

We were recently successful in securing funding for a research study titled: Tailoring cultural offers with and for diverse older users of social prescribing (TOUS): A realist evaluation. It is led by Kamal Mahtani and Stephanie Tierney at the Oxford Social Prescribing Network and public involvement is led by Dr Sofia Vougioukalou who is based at Cardiff University.

We would like to invite organisations that deliver creative activities that are accessed by ethnic minority older adults to complete our online survey which aims to map cultural provision for ethnic minority older people. In the survey the organisations can also express their interest to be one of our 6 case studies. This involve Debra, a researcher from Oxford University, coming to their site for a week (or 5 days) and observing their activities and producing a report that they can use for their own fundraising efforts. We are also offering a £500 thank you fee to organisations for agreeing to feature in one of our case studies. If you feel that this would be of interest to any organisations, please could you invite them complete this brief questionnaire by the end of November:
