We want to hear the thoughts, experiences and concerns of local people on the topic of personal safety. The information you give us will be used to inform how the route between Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn will look and work in the future.
The concerns, ideas and solutions identified will also form the basis of a Women’s safety study toolkit, which will be used to support wider safety improvements on walking, wheeling and cycling paths across Wales.
Workshops
Everyone is welcome to join the conversation and we want to hear ideas and experiences from across the community. To do this we are holding a series of drop-in workshops:
- Workshop 1: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Wednesday 15th June, Northside Community Center.
We’d like you to identify places which you feel are unsafe and to discuss why you feel this way. - Workshop 2: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Tuesday 28th June, Northside Community Center.
Help us to identify solutions which could address the concerns and problems identified in workshop one.
- Workshop 3: From Summer 2022 - Venue to be confirmed.
Take part in evaluating the suggestions made in workshops one and two. We’d like you to feedback on these ideas and tell us which you would like to see become a reality.
We are also partnering with local women’s groups to provide a women-only workshop for those who would feel more comfortable participating in a women-only space.
