How has the Social Services & Well-being Act changed your life and your well-being?

The Welsh Institute for Health and Social Care are keen to understand the impact of the Social Services & Well-being Act.

Research is currently being carried out by Dr Sarah Wallace, Senior Research Fellow for the Welsh Institute for Health and Social Care as part of the University of South Wales.

  • Sarah is part of a team thinking about how the Social Services & Well-being Act has impacted on you – are you feeling better because of the services and support you now receive? Are you feeling better all round?? Do you use social care services? Are you an unpaid carer?
  • Sarah is really keen to chat to you. If you are happy to chat about your feelings because of the Social Services & Well-being Act, please email her: sarah.wallace(at)southwales.ac.uk. Thank you.
  • Do you use Facebook? Sarah’s team has set up a group that you can join to chat with her and other about social care services. Please join in: https://www.facebook.com/WihscUSW/
  • If you would like to share your thoughts through filling in a form, you can do that too. To read the form in English click here and to read the form in Welsh click here.
  • You can watch a short fun film about Sarah’s research by clicking here, it is in English and Welsh.

Sarah says: “Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about the study, the ways you can get involved, or what taking part would mean for you. We look forward to hearing from you!”
