This is great news: there is currently no strategy for lung health, despite 1 in 5 of us being affected by lung disease in our lifetimes.
The Department for Health and Social Care is asking for views on what should be in the strategy.
Will you have your say?
There is so much more that we can do to prevent people from developing lung conditions as well as making sure everyone gets the best possible care and treatment.
From cleaning up the air we breathe, making quick and accurate diagnostic tests available everywhere, and investing in research to find new medicines, this new strategy is a chance to make a real difference.
Can you tell the government what you would like to see included?
