Young Wales boards and groups, an opportunity for more young people to join

Young Wales welcomed a group of young people from across Wales for their induction residential in May. The young people have signed up to become members of the Young Wales Project Board, Special Interest Groups and National Stakeholders Group.

During the weekend Young Wales delivered training on:

Children’s Rights

National Participation Standards

Children’s Act

Team Work and Confidence Building

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Being a Board or Group Member, Peer Mentoring and Volunteering

Creative Writing and Digital Content Production

The young people also had opportunities to work with Welsh Government on 4 different consultation activities.
