Powys Green Guide - Get Involved!

Powys Action on the Climate Emergency (PACE) is working to launch an online Powys-wide 'Green Guide', to bring people, businesses and communities together to make changes to support a better future - environmentally, ecologically, for communities, for everyone.

The Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall in Powys

A "one-stop shop" to help people living and working in Powys to live in a more sustainable way. It will promote local initiatives, green groups and events, as well as listing businesses and services that encourage and promote solutions that help to mitigate climate change.

The site will be a hub for communities and individuals, with the first version being launched in the next few months. There will be information for people seeking to start to make changes, as well as suggestions to help inspire and challenge those who have already made changes, to find something they can do next. To support all these green intentions, the site will include a guide to green buying, listing businesses who are supplying goods that support lighter living and are themselves taking action.

PACE is now looking to reach out to individuals, organisations and businesses in Powys who would like to be part of the site.

In addition, if you have an interest in a particular area (e.g. recycling, travel, food, energy) and would like to be involved in researching or writing about that area, in order to create content for the website, we would love to hear from you.

Remember - think big, start small,
start today and save tomorrow.
