 Rôl Swyddog Datblygu’r Gymraeg ar gyfer y prosiect Cynnig Rhagweithiol yw cefnogi grwpiau a sefydliadau ar eu taith i ddarparu gwasanaeth dwyieithog.

 Mae’r Cynnig Rhagweithiol yn un o ofynion polisi Llywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer gwasanaethau iechyd a gofal, Mwy Na Geiriau. Ei nod yw sicrhau bod gwasanaethau yn hygyrch yn Gymraeg heb i'r defnyddiwr gwasanaeth orfod gofyn amdano.

 Mae llawer o grwpiau a sefydliadau ym Mhowys naill ai’n methu neu ddim yn gweld y budd o gynnig eu gwasanaethau yn Gymraeg. Rôl y Swyddog Datblygu yw cefnogi grwpiau a sefydliadau ar eu taith i gyflwyno’r Cynnig Rhagweithiol trwy gymryd camau bach tuag at nod mwy. Gall hyn fod mor syml ag amlygu manteision cynnig gwasanaethau yn y Gymraeg, darparu hyfforddiant pwrpasol i grwpiau a sefydliadau neu roi Cynlluniau Gweithredu ar waith i gefnogi’r grwpiau a’r sefydliadau ar eu taith.

Fluency in Welsh is essential for this post.

The role of the Welsh Language Development Officer for the Active Offer project is to support groups and organisations in their journey to delivering a bilingual service. 

The Active Offer is a requirement of Welsh Government’s policy for health and care services, More Than Just Words. It aims to ensure that services are accessible in Welsh without the service user having to ask for it. 

Many groups and organisations in Powys are either unable to, or don’t see the benefit in offering their services in Welsh. The role of the Development Officer is to support groups and organisations on their journey to delivering an Active Offer by making small steps towards a larger goal. This can be as simple as highlighting the benefits of offering services in the Welsh Language, providing bespoke training to groups and organisations or putting Action Plans in place to support the groups and organisations on their journey.

To raise awareness of the Active Offer and to support and promote its use throughout the 3rd sector and wider.

Key Responsibilities

Mae'r “Cynnig Rhagweithiol” yn ymwneud â darparwyr gwasanaeth yn cynnig cyfle i ddefnyddwyr siarad Cymraeg a sicrhau bod anghenion siaradwyr Cymraeg yn cael eu deall a'u bod yn cael eu trin ag urddas a pharch.

● Cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth o'r angen am y Cynnig Rhagweithiol mewn gwasanaethau iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol

● Cefnogi darparwyr i weithredu cynnig Rhagweithiol wrth ddarparu gwasanaethau.

The “Active Offer” is about service providers actively offering the opportunity for users to speak welsh and ensuring the needs of welsh speakers are understood and that they are treated with dignity and respect. 

● Increase awareness of the need for the Active Offer in health and social care services

● Support providers to implement the active offer within the delivery of services.

Main Duties

● Cefnogi'r trydydd sector i gydymffurfio â deddfwriaeth a chanllawiau Cymraeg ym maes iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol

● Codi ymwybyddiaeth a darparu deunyddiau / adnoddau i gefnogi hyrwyddo'r Cynnig Rhagweithiol (i gynnwys deunyddiau hyfforddi a gweminarau) ar gyfer y Trydydd sector, Bwrdd Iechyd Addysgu Powys, Gofal Sylfaenol a Chyngor Sir Powys

● Cyflwyno ystod o sesiynau hyfforddi a chodi ymwybyddiaeth (ar-lein nes i gyfyngiadau Covid gael eu codi) ar gyfer sefydliadau'r trydydd sector a phartner ar draws Powys

● Casglu, coladu a dadansoddi data a gwybodaeth

● Paratoi gwybodaeth ar gyfer cardiau adrodd gan gynnwys effaith

● Paratoi astudiaethau achos rheolaidd

● Cofnodwch yr holl ryngweithio ar y CRM

● Hyrwyddo holl wasanaethau PAVO

Mae'r disgrifiad swydd yn ymdrin â phrif ddyletswyddau a chyfrifoldebau'r swydd ond bydd deiliad y swydd hefyd yn ymgymryd â dyletswyddau eraill sy'n gymesur â'r rôl hon. Nod PAVO yw darparu gwasanaeth sy'n ymatebol i anghenion ei aelodaeth a'i ddefnyddwyr gwasanaeth ac felly mae'n angenrheidiol bod staff yn ymateb i ofynion newidiol. Bydd disgrifiadau swydd a / neu gynlluniau gwaith yn cael eu diweddaru o bryd i'w gilydd i gyflawni'r newidiadau hyn.

● Support the third sector with compliance with Welsh language legislation and guidance in health and social care 

● Raise awareness of and provide materials/resources to support the promotion of the Active Offer (to include training materials and webinars) for Third sector, Powys Teaching Health Board, Primary Care and Powys County Council 

● Deliver a range of training and awareness raising sessions (on line until Covid restrictions lifted) for third sector and partner organisations across Powys 

● Collect, collate & analyse data & information 

● Prepare information for report cards including impact

● Prepare regular case studies 

● Record all interactions on the CRM

● Promote all PAVO services

The job description covers the main duties and responsibilities of the post but other duties commensurate with this role will also be undertaken by the post holder. PAVO aims to provide a service that is responsive to the needs of its membership and service users and it is therefore necessary that staff respond to changing requirements. 20 diwrnod y flwyddyn am wythnos 4 diwrnod (25 diwrnod y flwyddyn yn llawn amser pro rata) / 20 days per annum for 4 day week (25 days per annum full time pro rata)

Pension Scheme

Bydd cyfraniad sy'n hafal i 6% o'r cyflog ar gael i Bensiwn Rhanddeiliaid PAVO neu i Gynllun Pensiwn Preifat / A contribution equal to 6% of salary will be made available to the PAVO Stakeholders Pension or to a Private Pension Scheme
