This course was produced as a response to the difficulties experienced by applicants in the evidence of need and sustainability sections in recent grant applications. Its aim is to improve the future quality of applications by ensuring that applicants understand what is required in these sections and how to incorporate that into their projects/bids. Primarily the course will focus on taking a ‘panel’s eye view’ of applications to encourage groups to pay attention to individual grant criteria and tailor bids specifically for each fund, ensuring that their bids meet the set criteria.
