The Time after Time E-Waste Fund is a £500,000 Project Grant programme designed to support initiatives that tackle the e-waste challenges in the UK, with a focus on:
o Education and awareness raising of new or existing solutions.
o increasing recycling rates of small Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), such as campaigns focusing on specific items, trialling new recycling schemes and making it easier for people to recycle.
o Preventing e-waste by extending the life of small electrical items, such as encouraging or initiating repair, refreshing and encouraging people to pass on or purchase preloved electricals.
o Successfully engaging young people aged 16-24 on circular economy solutions relating to e-waste, and
o Research that will support a reduction in e-waste and extend understanding of how to solve this problem.
UK registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), other forms of social enterprise, local authorities, academic institutions, business improvement districts (BIDs) and registered companies may apply for a grant of between £10,000 and £100,000. Partnership and consortia bids are welcomed.
Grants cannot be used for:
o Core funding or organisational running costs, or
o Projects that aim to produce a new product for sale.
There is a 2-stage application process for the Time After Time Fund: an Expression of Interest followed by a Full Application for shortlisted project proposals.
The Expression of Interest deadline is 5pm on Friday 20th October 2023.
