The Thomas J Horne Memorial Trust is a family-based grant-making charity with its registered office in Maidstone, Kent. It’s trustees are Jon, Jeff and E J Horne,

The Trust makes grants primarily to the hospice movement and related charities in the UK, and also to other organisations such as those aiding disabled and homeless people and self-help groups in developing countries.

During the year ended 31st March 2023, the Trust awarded 123 grants totalling £917,500 (2022 – 121 grants totalling £895,790).

The vast majority of grants made were for between £5,000 and £10,000, with the occasional higher award. Most grants were repeat awards, augmented by the occasional new grant recipient.
