THE PILLING TRUST FUND

Grants, generally for under £10,000, are available to Anglican churches, abbeys, chapels, collegiate churches and cathedrals in England, Scotland and Wales so that they can provide a high standard of music in their services, including church choirs and the training of new organists.

The Pilling Trust Fund, commonly known as the John Pilling Trust, has the following charitable objectives:

1. To advance the religious beliefs of the Church of England together with the maintenance of the musical side of church services. ‘Church’ includes Churches, Chapels, Collegiate Churches and Cathedrals of the Anglican Communion, and
2. The advancement of education.

The Trust provides small grants and he occasional; larger grant each year so that the Anglican Church in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) can maintain a high standard of music in their services. Grants are often made for choirs, church organs and for the training of new/young organists.

Please note that the Trust does not maintain a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
