THE FORE TRUST

Grants of up to £30,000 over 3 years are available to smaller registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and Community Benefit Societies to transform their impact by unlocking exponential growth, sustainability, efficiency or create some other major step forward. The Trust particularly encourages applications from smaller organisations working with marginalised groups and led by people in the community that may have found it hard to access Trust and Foundation funding in the past.

The Fore Trust ("The Fore") offers unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 spread over 1-3 years which have the potential to have a transformational impact on an organisation. Unlike many funders, The Fore does not fund project-based work, but looks to make grants that will strengthen organisations for the longer term. Funding might, for example, help organisations:

o Grow or scale up their work.
o Increase their internal capacity.
o Serve new beneficiary groups,
or
o Become more sustainable and efficient.

The Fore particularly encourages applications from small organisations working with marginalised groups and led by people in the community that may have found it hard to access Trust and Foundation funding in the past.  The Trust’s funding process is specifically designed to level the playing field and give no advantage to those with fundraising experience or connections.

Grants of up to £30,000 over 3 years are available, with no matched funding requirement, to any UK registered charity, Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), Community Interest Company (CIC) or Community Benefit Society with an income of under £500,000 during their last completed financial year.

A number of case studies of previously funded agencies can be found on the Trust's website.

To apply for funding, organisations must first register some basic contact details with the Trust. This can be done via a link which appears below the webinar video on its website, which is only made available when the funding round is open. Please note that you cannot see the link if registration is closed.
