o Application deadline: none – applications may be made at any time in writing.

o Who can apply: UK local and national registered charities.

The David Solomons Charitable Trust nominally awards revenue grants up £10,000 to local and national UK registered charities. However, the vast majority of awards made are one-off grants for £1,000. Smaller UK charities tend to be prioritised for grant support.

The Trust’s grant-making focus is on supporting charities that work with people with learning difficulties, with a particular emphasis on:

1. Research into learning disabilities, and
2. Smaller, local projects which focus on care and treatment of those with learning difficulties.

Please note that the Trust does not have a website. Further information about the Trust is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.

Applications may be made at any time in writing and are reviewed by the Trust every 4 months.
