__________

o Application deadline: none - applications may be made at any time in writing.

o Who can apply: UK registered charities and voluntary organisations.

The Cobb Charity provides small grants to UK registered charities and voluntary groups to encourage a greater awareness and application of environmental care and sustainability through educational activities and projects. It particularly like to support smaller, locally based “up and coming” charities.

Previously supported projects have included those that raise awareness of

o Food and health.
o Organic food production.
o Recycling,
and
o Traditional country skills.

Levels of grant can vary, but – given the charity’s annual turnover (£34,831 in the year ended 5 April 20222) - are likely to be small and probably under £2,000.

The Trust’s annual expenditure is under the limit required for it to publish annual accounts on the Charity Commission website, where further information about the Cobb Charity can be found (the charity does not have a website).

Funding is not available for:

o Building restorations.
o Exp0editions or trips.
o Larger national charities.
o Medical organisations,
or
o Students.

Applications may be made at any time in writing. The Charity’s address, as provided in its Charity Commission entry is:
