Making a Difference in Powys - Numeracy Shared Prosperity Funding

Grants of up to £40,000 available to community organisations across Powys to build basic numeracy confidence.

Application deadline: 5pm on 21st February 2024.

Who can apply?: Third sector organisations, Housing Associations, Community Interest companies, Town and Community Councils, Parents and Friends of schools groups, Community building groups, Charities - all based in Powys.

This grant fund aims to raise general awareness and confidence in
numeracy through activities provided by third sector organisations.
Organisations are encouraged to think creatively about how they can

incorporate new activities into their current programmes.

Amounts of up to £40,000 can be applied for.

The application deadline is 5pm on 21st February 2024.

Projects must be completed and monitoring sent in by 31st December 2024

Projects should also meet these other priorities:
• Meeting an evidenced need in the local community
• Working with community volunteers to deliver the project
• Working with seldom heard groups, including those not in the labour
market

• Consideration of environmental sustainability and the Welsh
Government’s net zero ambitions
