With Social Prescribing high on the Welsh Government's agenda this session heard about the developments currently taking place.  Found out about community connecting / social prescribing and it's benefits.

An inspiring session led by Mark Williams about how the 'Circles of Support' approach can help people maximise the opportunities from withn their contacts to support and maintain well-being.

Baroness Jill Pitkeathley has a wealth of experience in the voluntary sector and a particular expertise in the support of unpaid carers.  This session was about how we can best care for the carers.

This session was to know more about the various partnerships that operate in Powys and how to influence things or get involved.

With the high number of individuals requiring support to overcome social isolation and loneliness in Powys how can we improve the situation?  Are befriending services the answer?

This session was to get to know more aobut the support available for community buildings and village halls in Powys.  Influence future support.

Is the training and development support you need always available when & how you need it?  This session provided an opportunity for third sector colleagues to influence and shape the provision of training and development support in Powys.

Major Chris Hunter QGM had 'the world's most dangerous job, in the world's most dangerous place'.  As the British Army's most experienced counter-terroist bomb disposal specialist in Iraq, he risked his life on a daily basis.  Chris shared his experiences and thoughts on the skills and attributes needed to deliver strong and clear leadership under pressure; and how during pressured times third sector leaders can deliver effectively.
