PAVO AGM and Annual Conference

PAVO holds a major third sector conference each year. It offers an  opportunity for us all to meet and look together at important issues.

PAVO 2019 Conference and AGM

19 November 2019       10am – 3.30pm

Cefn Lea Conference Centre, Newtown SY16 4AJ

We trust you will be able to be with us for our Annual Conference and General Meeting and that you will cascade this information through your organisation and via your networks.

The theme of the conference is

Powys Third Sector Scheme

Listening to what matters to Powys’ Voluntary Sector

The day will provide an opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and listen to the views, observations and perspective of Powys’ voluntary organisations. This will inform the development of a new Third Sector Scheme for Powys.

There will also be a Third Sector ‘market place’ giving you opportunity to promote your organisation and to network with others

Invitations will follow in due course.

2018 AGM & Annual Conference

PAVO's 2018 Annual General Meeting and Conference was held on 13 November 2018 with the theme of 'Resourceful Communities'.

The annual election of Trustees to sit upon PAVO’s Board saw the election of two new trustees:

  • Margaret Evitts
  • Peter Swanson

On a more poignant note, the AGM also saw Gloria Jones Powell stand-down from her long served role upon the Board. Many PAVO members and partner organisations will know Gloria from her role for many years as PAVO’s Chair but also for her tireless work in representing Powys’ Third Sector and its interests in many different settings and partnerships across our county.
