The overarching aim of the Fund is to improve the lives of children living in poverty in the UK, so that they have improved opportunities to enjoy their childhood and have more chances to learn and grow.
Frugi is seeking to support small, grassroots charities across the UK whose activities meet its three central priorities of addressing:
o Hunger.
o Nature, and
o Shelter.
Frugi doesn’t provide an indicative grant level on its website. However, as the company has stated that it aims to help as many charity projects as possible, grant awards are likely to be modest. The company’s aggregated donations of £850,000 over 17 years further indicates that its annual grant budget is likely to be around £50,000 (the business has grown rapidly in recent years, so its annual grant budget may now be significantly more than this).
Further information, together with a clear and straightforward application form, is available on the Frugi website.
The deadline for applications is midday on Friday 6 August 2021.
