Clair has been interim CEO at PAVO since October 2022. She was previously Head of Health and Wellbeing, responsible for PAVO's Health and Wellbeing team, Community Connectors and Powys Befriending Service. Clair is a passionate advocate for the third sector and brings extensive, varied experience to the role, including being a former County Councillor and retained firefighter.

The announcement comes after an extensive recruitment process which resulted in the shortlisting of some exceptional candidates. The interest in the position is a testament to PAVO's excellent, wide-spread reputation.

Announcing the appointment, Jamie Burt, chair of PAVO's Board of trustees, said:
