“Return to Practice” in Powys

Are you a Nurse or Allied Health Professional not currently on the professional register?

Would you like to return to practice?

Here at Powys Teaching Health Board we can help you to “return to practice” in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.

Nursing:

We are currently working with Universities across Wales (Bangor, Cardiff, Glyndwr, Swansea, University of South Wales) to support return to practice

The return to practice course offers an excellent opportunity if you have previously fulfilled the role of a registered nurse to return to the profession.

This course will enable you to develop, refresh and enhance the knowledge, skills, professional values and proficiencies required of a Registered Nurse and to deliver safe, effective and compassionate person centred care within your field of practice.

Allied Health Professionals:

For Allied Health Professionals returning to practice, you can be supported by the Health Board to meet the requirements for HCPC registration.

Return to practice courses can typically take between 3 to 12 months.
