The key aim of the fund will be to support individuals to reduce the harms associated with the misuse of alcohol and/or drugs on their health, social functioning, and the wider impact this can have on their families and to the wider community. The CAF will provide funds to allow individuals (and/or groups) to access activities, or for projects. All partner agencies working within our communities to support individuals that are affected by substance misuse issues are encouraged to apply for funding to the schemes where appropriate to do so.
The closing date for applications is 31st December 2019, in order to leave adequate time for projects to be completed and all associated costs spent by 31st March 2020. Full guidance for funding requests can be found in the attached forms.
