Participate in the Unpaid Carer’s Charter Research Project

This project aims to explore how unpaid carers and professionals can collaborate to enhance access to care in Powys using the new Welsh Carer’s Charter.

This presents a valuable opportunity for members of the Carer Steering Group, regardless of professional or personal background, to contribute to this significant research effort. Participation involves two main components, and you’re welcome to join either or both:

1. Survey Participation

Participants will complete a questionnaire sharing their experiences related to the Carer’s Charter.

2. Discussion Group Sessions

Participants are invited to take part in group discussions focusing on various aspects of the Carer’s Charter in Powys. Here are the scheduled sessions:

  • 20th June 2024, 12:30 – 14:00: Session 1 – Introduction: Understanding the lived experience of unpaid carers.
  • 4th July 2024, 10:00 – 12:00: Session 2 – Community Based Support and access to information, advice, and support.
