ONE STOP STORES LTD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP GRANTS
Grants of up to £1,000 are available to a wide range of organisations in England, Scotland and Wales for local good causes that address food poverty, support low-income families, older people and those living in a neighbourhood who are disadvantaged and vulnerable. Environmental, recycling and reducing waste initiatives, as well as youth sports teams, can also be funded. Projects must be based in an area in which a One Stop Store is currently accepting applications.

o Application deadline: FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER 2024. One further application window for 2024/25 is provided at the foot of the main text below. The map on the Groundwork UK website (scroll down the page to find the map) indicates which One Stope Stores have funding available (these are denoted by a green pin).
o Funder: One Stop Stores Ltd (One Stop Stores Ltd is a retail convenience business with over 900 shops across England, Scotland and Wales and a key focus on being the best store for customers in local neighbourhoods. The Fund is being managed by Groundwork UK on behalf of One Stop Stores Ltd).
o Who can apply: registered charities, voluntary and community groups, schools, health organisations, parish and town councils, Community Interest Companies, other forms of social enterprise, housing organisations, Community Councils, local authorities, Food Banks, Hospices, Women’s Refuges in parts of England, Scotland and Wales where One Stop Stores Ltd has a presence and a store that is currently accepting applications. Please note that this is not an exclusive list and other types of applying organisations may also be considered.

Groundworks UK and One Stop Stores Limited have entered into a partnership whereby small grants of up to £1,000 can be provided for a wide range of organisations (see list above) that are working to address food poverty and/or support older people within a local neighbourhood. In particular, the programme is intended to:
o Address food poverty.
o Improving the environment.
o Reducing and/or recycling waste.
o Running Youth Sports Teams.
o Support low-income families.
o Support older people/the elderly, and
o Support people who are vulnerable.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available with no matched funding requirement. Each One Stop Store (please check the map of the Groundwork website (scroll down the page to view the map) for a list of stores that are currently open to applications) may be able to provide additional support to help deliver local good causes by, for example:
o Providing awareness raising.
o Fundraising support, and
o Volunteer time.
Before starting an application, applicants should first use the Store Locator to check the distance to the local One Stop store and whether funding is currently available there. Please note that not all stores offer this programme.
Applications are considered on a quarterly basis, and can be submitted during the following application windows:
1. Monday 2nd September to Friday 25th October 2024 (the current application round), and
2. Monday 2nd December 2024 to Friday 24th January 2025.
