PAVO training starts in earnest on the 3rd with Nick Venti taking you through a vital role to many committees and trustee boards in ‘The Good Treasurer’.
Back by popular demand, 9th June sees ‘Don’t be risk averse – be risk aware’ return. As restrictions ease, it’s important for those organising activities or managing building to know how to ensure Covid safety from the perspective of a solid grounding in Health and Safety practice.
After a short gap during April and May, our PCC-subsidised ‘All Wales Safeguarding’ courses return. Yes, you too can benefit from FREE training in the essentials of safeguarding throughout the year, starting on the morning of 10th June.
There’s a knowledge double-dose available on 15th June, our popular ‘Being a Trustee’ course being the morning tonic, looking at everything new & existing trustees need to know to fulfil their responsibilities. This course, run by Diana Berriman and Michael Entwistle, is also ideal for those considering taking a trustee position but keen to find out more first.
Later on the 15th it’s time for the first of our two-part ‘Making a Website’ practical course with Flo Greaves & Melissa Townsend. In just four hours (with some homework!) you’ll have created a basic website for your organisation or activity on the popular Wordpress platform. Part two is on Tuesday 29th.
