Winter Pressures Grant Fund

The Winter Pressures Grant Fund will aim to directly fund local activity that can help to alleviate pressures, create additional capacity/activity, or extend existing activity where other funds are
running out.

Purpose of the Winter Pressures Fund

Grants will support not for profit organisations working at a local community scale in Wales and can be between £500 - £5,000. We can consider requests outside this range, but please contact us first
to discuss.
This fund is primarily focused on revenue funding; however, your funding request can contain costs for purchases of smaller ‘capital’ equipment including consumables (for example PPE).
The Winter Pressures Fund is not prescriptive, the fund is responsive to the needs of voluntarysector service deliverers.

Projects are invited to apply under the following priorities:

• Mental health
• Physical health
• Fuel poverty
• Community Transport
• Food security

Powys priorities are:

  •    Avoiding hospital admissions
  •   Discharge from hospital
  •   Support at home
  •   Prevention and early intervention

Activity can be funded for delivery up to 31 March 2022.
