The next Wales Webinar has been announced! It will be taking place at 1pm on Thursday 5th December and it will last for 30 minutes, perfect for fitting into a lunch break! It will cover the important benefits of crowdfunding and overcoming the barriers that community groups and small charities face. Crowdfunding is a term that includes fundraising from many individuals, and therefore it is interchangeable with the terms appeal or online campaign. The webinar is based on recent research into why the charity sector is one of the few areas failing to make the most of crowdfunding. You will also be able to ask live questions throughout. The webinar will also be recorded and added to YouTube, so that if you are unable to tune in on the day then you can catch up or share it afterwards.

The webinar is free, but you must register to be able to have access on the day. Please book your space here as soon as you are able to give an indication of numbers.

There are also a number of new webinar subjects coming up in 2020, including: developing an online fundraising strategy in 2020, based on case studies in Wales; using community shares and online fundraising alongside each other; a step by step online fundraising guide for third sector organisations to use to support their network; a joint webinar with a funder on how grants and online fundraising can strengthen each other; and making the most of your Localgiving account and those around you.
