RESEARCH - EU Citizens living in Wales

If you would like to participate in the research or know of any EU Citizens happy to be interviewed about their experiences, please click here.

Alma Economics has been commissioned by the Welsh Government to conduct research into the extent to which EU citizens living in Wales have access to equality of opportunity/outcome and are able to integrate into communities.

The aim of this research is to provide data and insights that will help the Welsh Government enhance and support the integration of EU citizens. We will be carrying out a quantitative analysis on the integration of EU citizens in Wales as well as qualitative analysis through engaging with key stakeholders, EU citizens living in Wales, and their Welsh counterparts.

The scope of this interview is to inform the Welsh Government about the integration process of EU citizens living in Wales.

Our interviews will identify the main initiatives implemented to support the integration of EU citizens living in Wales, areas that require improvement, main barriers to integration faced by the EU citizens, and the challenges that organizations and councils face in the adoption of integration policies. We will seek to engage a broad range of stakeholders to gather different points of view on migration policy to inform our policy recommendations.

The information provided during the interview will be included in a report that will be published, but we will not attribute any specific opinion to individuals. Names will not be linked to any of the responses, though we may include quotes in our report. The interview will last about 30 minutes.
