Following a popular session in December, we kick off our January offer with ‘Getting started with the Active Offer’ on 12th. Gwern ap Gryn will look at the need for Welsh language services in Powys, and support your organisation to do the best you can.
Ever thought about raising money for your organisation online but unsure where to start? Then our session on 14th – ‘How to Crowdfund’ with Diana Berriman - is ideal for you. Diana will look at different ways of raising money online, simplifying gift aid & potential platforms.
Throughout the first part of the year we’re offering ‘The Essentials of Safeguarding’ – an ideal starting point for anyone wanting to improve their awareness or bring their knowledge up-to-date. January dates are 20th, 27th and 28th.
Giving you an overview of what to look out for when running a community building is the aim of our session on Thursday 21st. Melissa Townsend has designed this course specifically with village halls & community centres in mind – although anyone responsible for a public building will no doubt benefit. The session is followed by a Q&A with panellists experienced in running community buildings from community to leisure centres.
Still not anything you fancy? How about a two-part (2 x 1.5 hrs) course on ‘Sustainability & Diversifying Income’ – delivered by Development Officers Mik Norman & Tim Davies – an opportunity to explore how your organisation can reflect, analyse and plan for a sustainable future. This course bridges our January and February schedules – running on Thursday 28th January & Thursday 4th February at 1.30pm.
