A group of independent consultants have recently been appointed to review and evaluate volunteering in Powys, the structures that support it and to produce a 5 year strategy for Powys.
The key areas we will be looking at during the course of the review include:
- identifying good practice and its social, economic & environmental impact on & within communities in Powys
- reviewing volunteering in Powys in order to set the CSRG activity within the county context.
- producing a detailed description of the composition & function of the School of Volunteers & Carers being developed as part of Powys' embryonic Health & Care Academy
- Translating the learning from above into a 5-year business strategy/plan
Would you please take a few minutes to respond to this brief survey, which looks at how you currently train your volunteers?
This will contribute to the shaping of the School of Volunteering that is planned as part of a proposed Academy of Health and Social Care under the Powys Health and Care Strategy.
The closing date for responses is 26th February – please do reply to ensure that your experience and views inform this exciting piece of work.
